G2 Amber Silica The Diatom Difference — Silica-Shell Nutrition Your Reef Can’t Get Elsewhere

Thalassiosira weissflogii | G² Amber Silica is a marine diatom — a fundamentally different phytoplankton class than green or golden strains. Its silica cell wall delivers a unique nutritional profile rich in EPA omega-3, essential amino acids, and trace minerals that soft-shelled phytoplankton simply cannot replicate. In the wild, diatoms form the base of the marine food chain, and reef systems that include diatom nutrition consistently outperform those without.

Thalassiosira weissflogii | G² Amber Silica is particularly valuable for bivalves (clams, oysters, scallops), sea urchins, and any coral or invertebrate with a natural diatom-feeding ecology. It also significantly boosts copepod egg viability and nauplii survival rates when added alongside Isochrysis or Nannochloropsis.

Why Thalassiosira weissflogii | G² Amber Silica:

  • Unique diatom nutrition unavailable in green or golden phytoplankton strains
  • High EPA and essential amino acid profile
  • Proven to improve copepod egg viability and nauplii survival

Claims Process In the rare event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival):

  • Please email sales@g2aquaticswa.com within 2 hours of the carrier-marked delivery time.
  • Include a clear photo of the unopened bottle/container next to the shipping label.
  • Once verified, we will issue a replacement or store credit.

Non-Returnable Items Due to the biological nature of our products and strict biosecurity protocols, we cannot accept returns on live cultures once they have been delivered. This ensures that no outside contaminants ever enter our facility.

Cancellations Orders can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the shipping label has been created. Once a live order is in the hands of the carrier, it is final.

Biological Shipping Schedule To ensure the highest viability of our live cultures, we ship Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed Thursday–Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday. This prevents your Phyto or Copepods from being held in carrier facilities over the weekend.
